Well the day is finally here....AUGUST 17TH! We have been waiting...waiting...waiting...and more waiting for this day! I even woke up about an hour before the alarm because I'm so dang excited lol. We are packed up and ready to go! As far as I know...we have everything important packed. If we miss anything, its probably something that can be picked up along the way. The reason why I named this post "fuck these clowns" because Matt is determined to scream it when we leave the MI boreder. Haha okay. We have some company coming along with us to Chicago...Matt's sister Heather will be riding along to Chicago where she now lives. So that will make the trip to Chicago more fun.
Tonights agenda is: Giorandos Pizza in Chicago, Cubs game @ Wrigley field, then head out and drive as far as we can to St. Louis, MO. We have a 1 PM Cardinals game! Afterwards, we will explore the city and arch, visit Mississippi River, and head toward the Sioux Falls (which is about 9 hours away) and is between St. Louis and Mt. Rushmore. There are some long days of driving ahead....but once we get out to Seattle and Portland, it won't be so crazy.
I'm about to hop into my last shower for awhile...and visit starbucks for some Iced Coffee to get me through the day.
...i'm sure this pizza place of which you speak is good...but you know TRUE quintessential Chicago style pizza can only be found at Gino's East...you guys MUST try to hit it up on the way back at least
